Lynn Halmrast will focus on a holistic approach to education that focuses on curriculum and healing in our schools.
As our schools in Greater Minnesota prepare students for the workforce of tomorrow, Lynn will work to ensure our schools are not bogged down by divisive political and social agendas from St. Paul, and partner with parents and students to ensure their voices are heard.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Moorhead is a community that depends on small town values of safety and knowing our neighbors. We see rising crime rates in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area that has a ripple effect throughout our great state, including Moorhead.
Lynn will work to ensure our law enforcement officers and first responders have the training and equipment they need to protect our families and business, while addressing the needs of our community to overcome homelessness, addiction and barriers resources.
ECONOMIC GROWTH
Border battles are nothing new, but as the business climate shifts in Minnesota more of our Moorhead businesses are moving to North Dakota and we are losing opportunity under failed policies that have crippled small business and economic development.
Lynn will fight for business incentives that keep growing businesses right here in Moorhead so we can continue to prosper.
